SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

TO:  Members of the Florida Federation of Italian American Clubs

Recognizing that our children represent the greatest potential for the propagation and preservation of our Italian American cultural values and heritage, your Federation will again this year award two college level scholarships in the amount of $1,500.00 each.

As in previous years, the scholarships will be granted to the applicants who demonstrate the best combination of scholastic achievement, service (school, community and extra curricular), essay, good moral character, and motivation.

The Requirements, Application and Biographical Information forms are to be used by the applicants.  These forms will be used by the Scholarship Committee to help determine who is awarded the two scholarships.  The forms are self-explanatory and the information submitted will be kept in strict confidence.  We would appreciate your copying and distributing these to interested members who are parents, grandparents and/or guardian of eligible applicants.

The Federation is pleased to assist promising young applicants from our member clubs, especially in view of the rising costs of higher education.
